The Opposite of Sex

Does anyone else think that the cover art from Slayer's Reign In Blood is fucking amazing?
I feel like I should listen to more metal, I forgot how much I love angry music.
It's soothing in a rather uncanny way.
I've spent so much time talking about love for the duration of my pseudo writing career...but let's talk about sex.
The majority of my experiences with sex have been...traumatic.
I'm slowly trying to cure this personality defect of mine.
Love and sex are not at all synonymous, they aren't expected to be.
Sex is not "fucking" and it's not "making love".
I don't understand why it either has to be guttural or nonsensical.
Our society has turned it into something guttural, because it's seen as taboo.
Mister J says that all guys do is talk about sex to their friends, I've been privy to enough conversations to understand how derogatory guys can be about the person that they're sleeping with.
Somebody once told me that all guys want is "a lady in public, and a whore in the bedroom."
This is probably pretty much true.
I don't like the idea of being a whore at all...
So why can't ladies have fun in the bedroom?
Because society dictates that men view us as whores?
Is this what it comes down to?
You can sleep with someone that you love, but women have to understand that sex is not the same thing as love.
And men should understand that sex is not just an automatic expectation from every woman that they choose to involve themselves with.
I'm not speaking about specific people or situations as I write this.
I'm pointing out the way that people suffer an emotional detachment when it comes to sex.
So just shoot someone in the forehead without even flinching, and then go fuck your whore.
I'm not saying that it should be an emotional event, I'm suggesting that it shouldn't be treated in such an offhanded, nonchalant way.
