"All the world's a stage, and the men and women merely players..."
Isn't that a quote from somewhere?
Mortals fall victim to human error.
Every archetype has their fatal flaw...
Othello, Macbeth, Oedipus Rex; in reality humans are much more complex than that.
Or so we'd like to believe...so we'd assume.
Real humans (as opposed to fictional ones) have many fatal flaws, as opposed to a single one.
Instead of an Achilles' Heel, we have bad habits and vices.
This is the fatal flaw in reality, life will always be the greatest novel.
What else can I say; Gatsby fell victim to the past, Alex fell victim to corruption and greed...
Fatal flaws are what creates the great tragedies.
